I love my grain bags, but there is not way that I could cut them. It is hard enough to cut homespun to make something new. My thought go to the time consuming process of acquiring the fiber from the plant and the weaving. The different type on the bags is always so interesting to see. These German bags are much more decorative than the 18th century American bags that I have.
